kaimaciel: Oh, oh…Now that I’m thinking about it… Doom only...

kaimaciel:

Oh, oh…

Now that I’m thinking about it… Doom only seemed able to convert the Marvel characters into his own image if said characters died when the two Earths collided. That’s why there was no Battleworld version of Reed, Spider-Man, Lady Thor, Peter Quill… Oh, no. If Lady Loki is on A-Force, this can’t be good. It also make sense since Doom does have a thing for female Loki and we’ve seen an alternate universe where he chains Lady Loki and Emma Frost to his throne dressed as concubines. Personally, I think Loki would rather be dead than be Doom’s sex slave, but I digress.

Lady Thor and Peter Quill are also on covers for Battleworld and they survived, so this could mean that they’re just covers and the writers didn’t want to give away the survivors, or maybe Doom can create new characters based on alternate universes. Man, this is getting unnerving…

I think you may be over thinking things. Cyclops has numerous alts revealed so far, I think it was 6 at last count, (not counting the Endless Summers clones, of which there are thousands) and he was on the life raft. Carol Danvers also has alts on Battleworld, though not as many, and she was on the life raft. So does Spider-Man. Also, that’s a Lady Loki from another dimension, not 616, so even if a character only gets ‘re created’ on Battleworld after they die, well, that wasn’t OUR Loki, anyway.

Also, just remember a death here means almost nothing at all. It’s just not a big deal. There is just absolutely no way Marvel will continue after Secret Wars with just Lady Thor, Cyclops, Reed Richards, Black Panther, Spider-Man and Star-Lord, plus Thanos, Maximus, Proxima Midnight, Corvus Glaive, Black Swan, Terrax, Namor and Ultimate Reed from the other raft. All the other characters will be brought back, safe and sound. We already know this, there have already been post-Secret Wars stories published and everyone is fine.
