I noticed something fun and potentially important from the preview for Thor #2. Look at the doors of Asgardia. see that symbol carved on the door? That’s not just something random to look nice. That is an Icelandic magical symbol, or ‘stave’ specifically one called Ægishjálmur, or the ‘Helm of Awe’. It is intended to invoke fear and protect from abuse of power. (the God of Fear’s thugs are attacking her and is possibly controlling Odin. hm….)
