Loki’s been gradually morphing into this icon of individualism and self-realisation and I love it. Also I’m pretty sure that’s a not-so-subtle nod to Kieron Gillen and Al Ewing’s work. I think we can be pretty confident that Jason Aaron isn’t planning to fuck up any of the progress they’ve laid down.
I loved this panel, it was basically Aaron breaking the fourth wall to say he loved Gillen and Ewing’s story with Loki and reassuring worried fans that he would not undo it.
