Confused about the current Loki timeline

Confused about the current Loki timeline:

nightling13:

I am loving the Loki Agent of Asgard comics but I am noticing a glaring continuity issue that is starting to bother me.

Loki Agent of Asgard issues 1 to 5 are set before Original sin.

Then comes Thor & Loki Original Sin 1 to 5.

At the start of Loki Agent of Asgard issue 6 Loki gets…

I think we just have to accept some wiggle room and flexibility here. But to clarify one of your points, no, Loki did not have that confrontation with Verity immediately after Original Sin, he had apparently gone into silent mode, that’s part of why she was so upset. He wasn’t answering his phone, he wasn’t online, he just apparently dropped off the face of the earth without telling her anything about how the infiltration of Asgardia went, or anything else. This tendency of his is brought up again in Original Sin when it becomes clear Loki has not even told Thor about his time with the Young Avengers in even a way that glossed over the bad parts. Basically, Loki is not open with his problems or emotions, or even events in his life in general, he’s extremely private. (And I can relate, I’m the same way. But in his case, it is becoming a problem, since a lot of the time his problems affect others as well in fairly large ways) Sometimes that apparently means going into hiding for a while, days, maybe even weeks, not answering his phone etc. so he can think on things. I think this is just what we have to assume is going on in order to plug gaps in the timeline.

But yeah, the recent issues with Thor and Angela present a somewhat problematic timeline. After Axis, Thor had to go back to moping for a bit, then go fight frost giants, fight Malekith, lose his arm, get a NEW arm, then both Thor and Loki attend the birth of their new baby sister, have that sister kidnapped, Thor goes after her to Limbo and New York, go back to Asgard pick up Loki and a few others, go to Vanaheim…. then… things happen which we don’t know yet. The new Thor may or may not appear during this time. THEN, after all that, Loki apologizes to Verity. It’s the only way it works, even though that must be a LOT of ‘alone time’ for Loki while he thought about what to say to her, and Thor thought about what to say to Loki.
