Absolutely Terrifying Two Sentence Horror Stories
Here are some brushes I’ve been using for most of the Massive Chalice concept art! Enjoy! :)
Fellow artists, enjoy!
nice! I have far too many brushes, but a few more won’t hurt.
Jeez, people with jobs, why you keep demanding money and stuff?!
Found this gem on facebook. Just take a look at that ear. Huuuge taper and it looks blown out. Hunny it’s time to fix that.
It’s a bit sad, but it seems like many people think that blowouts are just a part of stretched ears because they’re so alarmingly common, they walk around with them proudly on display and don’t try to reduce the size or do anything about the scarring because they think it’s normal. I also suspect some jewelry is longer than it maybe should be in order to accommodate blowouts. I have some plugs that I had to sand the backs down on with a belt sander because they were ridiculously long…
Banksy.
I’ve reblogged almost all of these. Fuckin dope artist.
I will never tire of Banksy.
The last one though.
THESE ARE FUCKING COOL
I love that last one so hard.
Abandoned Cottages in the Woods Overtaken by Animals
In a series titled Once Upon a Home, photographer Kai Fagerström captured the new residents of abandoned cottages in the woods. After residents had passed away or relocated, a group of feral animals took over the spaces. In a story published for National Geographic, Fagerström captured the “wild squatters” in a handful of derelict dwellings near his family’s summer home in rural Suomusjärvi, Finland.
Equilibrium - Himmelsrand - Skyrim Cover - Official - Full HD (by Marek Kubaczka)
Was just listening to Equilibrum’s new EP, and this came up and I was all like ‘squeee!’
I feel like all these people who hate Skyler on Breaking Bad* are completely missing the entire point of the series. Walter White is not the hero of this story, kids.
*and extend that childish hatred to Anna Gunn, who is a tremendous actor, playing a…
Some people have a really hard time separating ‘protagonist’ from ‘good guy/hero’ You’d think Breaking Bad, where Walt becomes such a vile character towards the end, I mean, you couldn’t even consider him an anti-hero at this point, he’s a straight up villain, would have taught some of these people that the character a work of fiction centers around isn’t always the good guy, but… nope. I find stories with a villain protagonist really interesting and I like them a lot, but I don’t fool myself into thinking that they should get away with what they do. If Walt doesn’t get caught or go down in a hail of bullets at the end of this, I will be disappointed.
I’m the co-creator and writer of a little comic book series called “Snakor’s Pizza”. To date we’ve published 3 issues (plus a summer special). I’m working on the latest issue now, but in the meantime I wanted to share this great little story my pals Dave Howlett & Toby Orr put together. This will see print in the future, but for now this is the only place you can read it. Enjoy! - sj
Do yourself a favor and find Snakor’s Pizza #1-#3… a great boon by an even greater bunch of guys
I am so glad I stumbled across this.
Anti-Theft Lunch Bags
Anti-Theft Lunch Bags are zipper bags that have green splotches printed on both sides, making your freshly prepared lunch look spoiled. Don’t let a sticky-fingered coworker or schoolyard bully get away with lunch theft again! For $8, you receive 25 plastic sandwich bags with strategically placed green splotches on the surface, to make the contents inside look like something no one would want to steal, let alone eat.
Amazing Long Term Exposure Photos of Ferris Wheels
The original Ferris Wheel was designed and constructed by George Washington Gale Ferris, Jr. as a landmark for the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago. The term Ferris wheel later came to be used generically for all such structures, and Ferris wheels are now the most common type of carnival ride at state fairs in the United States.
Since the original 1893 Chicago Ferris Wheel, there have been eight subsequent world’s tallest-ever Ferris wheels. The current record holder is the 165-metre (541 ft) Singapore Flyer, which opened to the public in March 2008.
In the gallery below (most taken at local fairs and carnivals), we see what Ferris wheels look like when captured using a longer exposure (i.e., shutter left open, typically 2 seconds or more). The lights that adorn the Ferris Wheels blend and blur, creating brilliant patterns and beautiful photos.
