Well, this is promising.
From what was shown by at San Diego Comic Con by DC Entertainment, there is an upcoming six-issue mini-series called Midnighter and Apollo, which will serve as the follow-up to the critically acclaimed DC Comics series Midnighter.
We finally get to have Apollo and Midnighter back in the same series again, and while they are no longer married, per the New 52′s continuity, they seem to be at the very least rebuilding their relationship as a couple.
From the looks of it, Midnighter and Apollo take on the subway pirates from Grant Morrison’s Seven Soldiers, as well as a giant golem made out of subway trains in Los Angeles and demons in Opal City.
The artwork will be by Fernando Blacno, while Steve Orlando will write the series that is due to see its first issue released on 5th October 2016.
These pages are all first look promo pages from Midnighter and Apollo, Issue #1.

I find the limited colour palette interesting. Should be a very distinctive book.
And so glad to have Apollo back! Orlando seemed to really get him for the short time he was in Midnighter’s book, and it’s good to have them back together.
