• M&A both volunteered for some experimental military shit ( at least they think so, they can’t remember ) and bendix fucked em up at the same time in their life, then they were put on a team ( the original “Stormwatch” ) and then bendix betrayed the team and left them all for dead if they didn’t get this artifact thing, which they couldn’t physically get and mid & apollo were the only ones to escape. they then spent like 5 years?? together where they fell in love and fought crime on a small level together. then they found out about some sketchy arms being sold to some place in Nevada where it turns out it was some super sketch Garden thing.. which got them on the new Stormwatch’s radar and then they were recruited after that

• M&A were both abducted by aliens and experimented on at like 14.. they both escaped at different times and mid tracked apollo for an entire year before offering to team up with him at the same time that stormwatch found him. they both had names that they remembered?? Andrew for Apollo and Lucas for Mid, and they joined stormwatch & whatever, some dumb au shit happened and the series was super shit as a whole, which is why i assume that most of it got retconned. chinspike.

• ??? apparently back to bendix experimented on mid ( and I think Apollo too?? not sure ), he doesn’t remember his own life before the experiments he just made it up bc he thought that Apollo deserved someone who wasn’t just “the Midnighter”, some lady at the God Garden is his “mother” for some reason and im really confused someone pls help me
  

I think DC is just trying to quietly pretend New 52 Stormwatch never happened, to be honest, or at least only happened in the very broadest of strokes. I am fine with this, it was a complete and utter mess. But from the latest issue, it does appear they’ve kept Apollo’s name being Andrew, and he seems unconnected to Bendix, up until Midnighter kinda dragged him into the mess. But I doubt his origin is still space owls.
