More Skyrim screenshots with Loki! not really a lot to say. I...

More Skyrim screenshots with Loki! not really a lot to say. I started building one of the Hearthfire houses, I chose to go with Heljarchen Hall partly because it was the only one i hadn’t yet used as a main house, but also because Winstead Manor (despite being my favorite location) was right out because I have Frostfall and I am not playing a snow elf vampire that is completely oblivious to the cold, and Heljarchen Hall is right at the point where the temperatures get tolerable, and it also sits right between two giant camps, which seemed fitting for Loki. so far i have the main hall and the back wing (alchemy tower) constructed and most of the indoor furnishings. need more lumber and iron to finish the rest, also goat horns so i can add more lights. It of course uses my very favorite Hearthfire mod, Shezries Kitchens. which turns the useless back room into an adorable little kitchen, so you can use the east wing for something else, I’m leaning towards library.

Besides that I just did your usual dungeon crawling and fought a dragon that attacked Dawnstar. That thing killed 5 guards. Luckily I have the Run for Your Lives mod, so no townsfolk were killed. I had much fun using the Meteor Shower spell from Forgotten Magic against the dragon, you can see it about to get hit in the head with some meteors in one of the screenshots. Of all the magic mods I have tried, Forgotten Magic is definitely the best, imo. On the subject of mods, I have been a longtime fans of W.A.T.E.R. (now only available as part of that compilation as far as i can tell) for, well, the water in the game, but saw that Realistic Water Two had become quite popular, and decided to give it a try. I normally try to only talk about mods i like, but…. NOT impressed with Realistic Water. In the screenshots above, at the very bottom, the one on the left is Realistic Water, the one on the right is W.A.T.E.R. after i put it back. I think it’s plainly obvious which one looks the best. Both mods add waves along the coast if you have Dragonborn, but Realistic Water made no effort to colour match the waves and the ocean textures, and while some of it is that the first screenshot was taken in the middle of a bright day, and the second was taken around sunset, the colours in Realistic Water were kinda gaudy in comparison, and the textures had more obvious tiling. Went back to W.A.T.E.R.
