Can we talk about this page, for a second here? Not what he’s saying, or even necessarily what’s happening, but how he’s doing it, how it’s put together. First panel, he breaks the borders by grabbing hold of the panel border, then he jumps off panel and sits in the gutters a while, before turning into ink and dripping into the final panel.
Thor is stuck in the story, but Loki breaks out of it, and is operating outside of it, he has control of the story. I may have been wrong about someone else inserting him into the story, but he is still operating by manipulating the story itself.
