(And maybe he can execute another rescue for Lorelei and Sigurd. Odin would understand that they’re his buds and he needs to look out for them.)
I actually have a suspicion that Odin did what he did with the INTENT of Loki rescuing them. Odin has always been pretty big on making his sons prove themselves worthy.
