While cool and all that this is making news, I wasn’t aware this was a new discovery? How else would they be able to settle Iceland, Greenland, the Faroe Islands etc. if they did not have women with them? It’s been known for quite a while that women were treated more equally in Norse society than most other societies at he time, but even if you just take it at a practical level, someone has to give birth to the next generation in the new lands they settled.
