In Elder Scrolls games your gender affects your height since it varies for certain races, which in turn affects movement speed. In Morrowind and Oblivion different genders had different starting bonuses for certain attributes, but they scrapped the attribute system for Skyrim.

Does height actually affect your movement speed in those games? I never really noticed that
