"It really bothers me that the people of Tamriel sometimes use the terms “Earth” and “Sun”. It’s kinda annoying that Beth didn’t pay enough attention to the fact that Earth is the name of our planet and the sun is the star that our planet orbits, not general names."
Our sun is named ‘Sol’ (hence the terms ‘solar system’ and ‘solar power’ etc.) not ‘Sun’. Sun is a general term that can apply to any star that has planets orbiting it. ‘Earth’ while it IS the proper name of our planet is also a tricky one because it is most likely called that because it’s made OF earth. You know, like you would say ‘dirt’ or ‘ground’. So yeah, don’t have a problem with this.
