Black bear tracks mark the shore of the stunning North Arm fjord, in Torngat Mountains National Park, Labrador.

As far as I know the Torngats are home to the world’s only black bear population that lives north of treeline. The closest evergreen to that spot is hundreds of kilometres away.

We saw several black bears over the course of the week, all of which looked healthy and impressive.

Oh and the colour of that lake is really as it looks in this photo. :-)
