Secret Wars Journal #1
Heh. I know who that is on the cover and it makes me smile hard.
Everything I hear about this anthology excites me.
:o alternate Young Avengers! I’m guessing either from the 1602 universe, or House of M…

Loki just like, “Oh Thor, your violent rages are so much more fun when they’re directed at some other problem sibling.”
I’m just thrilled the Disir are back! Curious to know what they are like now that they are all un-cursed and stuff. I also hope we also see more of Loki and Hela… I mean, they have unresolved business, and I am glad it’s Gillen that got to do their first meeting since that whole unpleasantness at the end of JIM…
But yea… Thor’s showing his nasty streak in the story.

The way we perceive time and history is so weird
I get so tripped out when I think about how Cleopatra lived closer tot he iPhone being invented than she did to the Great Pyramids being built. Or how Stonehenge would have already been ruins when Jesus walked the earth or how Oxford University is older than the Aztec Empire or how Anne Frank and MLK were born in the same year like man this it’s all so crazyWe live closer to the T-Rex than the T-Rex lived to the Stegosaurus.
We are the same number of years away from the first Star Wars film as the first Star Wars film was from Gone With The Wind.
Nintendo is roughly half the age of the United States of America.
If Happy Days was made now with the same time-setting gap as its first episode, it would be set in the mid-90s. So would That ’70s Show.
Arthur Conan Doyle and Gene Hackman were alive during the same year.
The first printed use of the word “electricity” predates the existence of the piano.
There are people alive today who have never even heard of Kenickie.
